Pinehurst Golf Club was orignially opened in 1929 by Kellogg area business men. Designed by a gentleman by the name of Bauman, the course was originally 6 holes (1, 2, 6, 7, 8 and 9) with sand greens. The current layout includes 18 different tees that dramatically change the play of the holes. A creek meanders through the course and comes into play on 5 of the 9 holes.
