Clubhouse is open and we are enjoying everyone that has stopped to visit with the season starting so early. Been trying to work with the weatherman on less rain, but haven’t had much luck.

This is a first for the Kellogg High School Golf Team. They started their season at the Golf Course, no gym time. We seem to be off to a pretty amazing season.

A reminder of the yearly event calendar, there will be changes and additions. We no sooner print it than changes are being made. This is the reason we do monthly calendars. You can pick them up at the clubhouse or print it off the web site. Thanks for your understanding and assistance.

Jamie Edwards will be sprucing up the place with a new coat of paint, be sure and THANK him for his hard work.

The Pro Shop is filling up fast with new Golf Equipment and Clothes. Be sure and check out the sale items too. We also continue to try new items in the food department, hope you enjoy them.

Spring Match Play has started, and Memorial Weekend Tournament winners were: Ladies - Sue James, Men’s – Brian Chase. The last day was very rainy, but a good fun. Horse race was won by the team of Paul Richter and Jan Davis. Way to go!!!

Ladies golf lessons started in May with 30 ladies. It’s always good to get new ladies that want to learn to play.

Junior Golf is Happening in June with 40+ kids. Awesome turnout every year. Everyone is invited to the Awards/ Closing Drive, Chip & Putt contests on Friday , June 25th . A special thanks to Herb & Mary Lou Kinsey and Simon Miller for their coaching assistance. And to all of our donors: Sunrise Dairy, Sysco, Sunny Side, Pepsi Products, Stovern Supply. All of these people help us make the day special for the kids. The course will be closed for 1 hour on Thursday mornings for the Junior League. They start at 9:00am. The rules we teach the kids is to let adults play through. If they have to wait for the adults then they spend all of their golf course time waiting on adults, so PLEASE help the kids!!!Thanks!!!

Middle School Lessons will be starting soon, dates to be announced.

Friday Nite Fun Nites (Couples Golf) have all been changed to Potluck, and once a month we will be having Mixed Golf with a potluck to follow. This will be 18 holes.

We have many Tournaments scheduled this summer and are looking forward to each one, Please sign up and participate.
